Playing formats don’t have an impact on scoring and are for display purposes only in the League Caddie system. We currently allow you to set the following playing formats for an event: Standard, Shamble, Scramble, Red-White-Blue Tees, and 5 Club Special.
Scoring formats determine how net scores are auto-calculated for a specific event. We currently support these in scoring formats: Stroke Play, Chicago, Stableford, Best 7 Holes, and Match Play.
Yes! By choosing the “Custom” scoring format you can define how League Caddie should calculate the net scores for an event. You can use a variety of built in variables that will allow you to tap into information stored in League Caddie.
Yes and yes! League Caddie incorporates points in addition to payouts for each event’s results. These points are used to generate your league’s leaderboards over time. The point system can be customized per league.
Yep, we support traditional match play. With match play you can define matchups, points per hole, points per win, and more.
Yes! League Caddie is built to support any league. We have large course run leagues and leagues that consist of a group of friends.
Yes! When you set up a league, you define which courses are available. Then, when you create an event you can choose which course that event will be played at.
Yes and no. It really depends on how the teams are structured and how scoring is handled. Use the chat button in the bottom right to see if we can accommodate your team structure.
Nope. Leagues don’t have to be approved by the course. That being said, leagues that work with courses have the opportunity to leverage additional features like tee time booking.
We currently have an integration with foreUp that will enable players to register for league events by booking a tee time. Payment is then handled through the foreUp system. Contact us for more details on the foreUp integration.
No. We provide a way for you to display the payout amounts in the Player Mobile App, but the actual payouts must be handled externally.
Yes and no. Each league has a website with limited functionality. Players can use the website to sign up for the league, view results, view announcements, and view leaderboards. Player are not able to register or submit scores through the website.
